Dave, Matt and Emily travelled to Berlin, one of our favourite cities, for the latest international meetign on the biology of Vibrios. We presented our work on gene regulatory networks and how global transcription factors have evolved to have shared DNA binding site motifs, permiting integration of key environmental signals to control gene expression. The meeting overall was fantastic with very high quality science trhoughout.
