Big congrats to Andrew who successfully defended his PhD earlier this week in a viva run by Profs Chris Thomas (UoB) and Ramesh Wigneshweraraj (Imperial). Andrew has been a fantastic PhD student and has a bright future ahead of him. He’s earned the nickname “Hooch” over the course of the PhD for reasons perhaps obvious from the picture.
