Alex earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in China, then continued his research training in Hong Kong and the United States, with a focus on molecular biology and anaerobic microbiology. He joined the Grainger Lab in the autumn of 2024 to pursue his PhD. He is interested in uncovering the molecular mechanisms of pathogen infection and exploring potential treatment strategies.
